Cobra Drumline

Featured story

The Harlem-based Marching Cobras bring punch & fervor

It’d be a challenge to compare anything to the energy a drumline brings. With its roots in the military, today, drumlines are a rallying cry for school teams, parades, political rallies, and beyond. They’re also a major source of inspiration for modern beats throughout hip hop, trap, and across genre lines. Whether dissected and broken down or left in their cohesive state, drumline sounds add punch and fervor few other sounds are capable of achieving.

Groups like the Harlem-based Marching Cobras use drumline and marching band performances to promote leadership, teamwork, and physical fitness with a strong focus on character development among people of all ages. With a plethora of performances under their belts, they’ve performed on the Golden Globe-Nominated film The Bird Man and for the NFL. They were the perfect group to work with to produce these sounds ready for you to layer and compose with the articulation of an authentic drum corps.
