More about Aaron Steele and the gear used in this pack

Growing up in a Hispanic household in NYC, Aaron Steele was always surrounded by music. Born to Reverends Emilia and Gilbert Steele, drumsticks were placed in his hands at an early age as he provided the back beat for worship services.

For this pack, Steele used a variety of drum parts from a range of decades including a 22" Frank Wolfe kick from the 1940s, a 22" Pearl Wood/Fiberglass from the ‘70s, a 1950s 5x14 Slingerland Student Radio King snare and a ‘60s 5x14 Pearl Phenolic.

He also used a 1980s TAMA TechStar 305 with Arturia Beatstep Pro, Midfi Electronics Pedals, a 1980s Chandler TubeDriver, and more. This pack was recorded and mixed in Studio One V5.
