Adam Taylor (aka Lexicon Light) is a musician and light artist residing in Arcosanti for over two years. Adam is an Artisan in the bronze bell foundry at Arcosanti, and uses the bells he makes to create layered drones, playing breath-based instruments such as bansuris, flutes, and harmonicas to create echoing melodies.
Katie Pinto grew up with music in all forms. She came to explore music as a language and each instrument it's own dialect. As a singer and songwriter, Pinto leans towards instruments that she can sing along with, especially percussive and stringed instruments. Years as a teacher and performer took her nomadic spirit around the country, but she has most recently found a home in Arcosanti.
Aiotea (aka Rob Jameson) is an immersive artist living at Arcosanti working at the intersection of spatial audio, 360 light, and community empowerment. Since its inception in 1965, The Cosanti Foundation has sought to influence the way the built environment is created to ensure compatibility with the surrounding ecology. Through year-round public tours and programming offered at its two experimental architecture- and sustainability-minded locations in Arizona—Cosanti (in Paradise Valley) and Arcosanti (near Cordes Lakes)—The Cosanti Foundation has shaped and contributed to the global conversation about balancing humankind’s needs with the planet’s natural resource capacity for more than 50 years. In that time, more than 8000 people have participated in our hands-on construction workshops, building both Cosanti and Arcosanti, and becoming part of an international network of Cosanti Foundation alumni. More than 50,000 people visit Cosanti and Arcosanti annually (both sites are open to the public on a daily basis), and another 35,000 people follow us across our social media platforms every day.
The Cosanti Foundation additionally owns and operates a world-famous bronze and ceramic windbell business, Cosanti Originals, with manufacturing and gallery sales taking place onsite at both Cosanti and Arcosanti, as well as online at cosanti.com. Arcosanti is also home to a vibrant year-round multi-generational community of more than 60 residents, most of whom are workshop alumni and many of whom work or have worked for either The Cosanti Foundation or Cosanti Originals.
