All of the outdoor sounds were recorded with a DPA surround microphone into a Sound Devices recorder. As with any outdoor recording, there are naturally occurring elements that work their way into the noise floor (birds chirping, waves crashing and wind blowing through trees) that add a signature character of these unique oasis of nature into the music, and thus have been embraced rather than scrubbed out.
In addition to musical loops this pack contains impulses and one-shots designed to exploit the complex reflections of the outdoor environments. The possibilities for repurposing these recordings for use in convolution reverbs and instrument creation are endless. Feel the size and beauty of this sample pack and delve into a natural world of reverberation.
