Animal Monster Machine (Anml Mnstr Mchne) is an invitation into the musical evolution of Darren King's soul and skill, and it's represented in three forms: The Anml. The Mnstr. The Mchne.
Anml: You'll come to find the sounds in this library to be animalistic in nature. Dominant on their own, but submissive to the overall composition. The loop combinations are intuitive; full of good instincts and perfect for your songwriting.
Mnstr: You'll also discover sounds that are less thoughtful and more hostile and beastly. They're wild, untamed, and will give your drums an edge and a bite.
Mchne: And finally, this library also boasts great precision. King's drum fills are clean and exact. Every note counts for something. While this library is smaller (in size) than his Iconic Signature library from 2014, it's a broader pallet of sound covering more of the scope of King's musical personalities. It represents more of the beat-maker and producer King has become. It hosts both rhythmic and tonal options with the melding of drums and keyboard samples.
When we asked King to describe it he told us it was, "Sweaty, mean, and gnarled with no artificial sweeteners," But he also said it was "crispy, clean, tactile, and electro-acoustic." Those were the words he said, but the only thing our ears heard was, "The Anml Mnstr Mchne."
